Not all Diopside is the same! Chrome Diopside is mined all over the world.

RUSSIAN Chrome Diopside is quite special and unique.
It is found in ONE mine in Siberia, Russia

It can only be mined 2-3 months out of the year - because the extreme cold temps don't allow for digging the in frozen earth.
AND.....
as of this summer, 2015, The mine is closed.
There is no more rough being mined

By Christmas 2021 - the demand will exceed the supply available - which will drive prices up - they have already tripled on the wholesale level in the past 4 months
