How to "pin" to Pinterest - drive traffic to your site

Here are some pretty basic steps to drive traffic to your selling site - using Pinterest effectively

From most selling sites, you will see the Pinterest Icon - right near Twitter, Facebook, Google+ - etc.

use this icon to Pin your items to Pinterest.

First - you need to go to Pinterest and set up some boards.  Choose Board titles that will attract people to what you are sharing or selling.

I have one called  "Diamonds, Diamonds, Diamonda"  and another called "Pink Madness" and "Fab Bracelets and Earrings"

Second - and very important - DO NOT post your items on someone elses Board without being invited - Big NO NO!

Third - After you make your boards - Pin your items from your listings to the appropriate Boards -  Diamonds, Pink - etc.
I use the copy and paste method -  first - i copy and paste the description title into the Pinterest Box - then the item url. that way - other Pinners can go to your item directly

after you click the PIN button - you get a screen that says - See Your Pin or Tweet your Pin -
always Tweet your pin - that helps bring other to your pins and ultimately, your items for sale.

Fourth - INVITE others to Pin their items on your Boards -  this way you can expand your viewers - and get more followers on Pinterest - that means more eyes looking at your items

Fifth - change your Boards every month or so - delete sold items - make new, fresh boards

Whether you sell on Ebay, Bonanza or Addoway - you need to be taking advantage of this free marketing opportunity!

who knows how long it will stay FREE? They always find a way to charge eventually!

Happy Pinning Everyone!
